Camp Kitchen Gear

Your kit might look different depending on your specific needs. Here’s a list to get you started.

Packing Tip: Pack all your kitchen gear in your tail bag or one pannier – Simply take the bag off your bike, take it to the cooking area, and have everything you need all in one place. Pack a few quick grab snack items in your tail or tank bag for easy access during breaks. See safety tip below.

Packing Safety Tip: If you are on an extended trip and have packed all your food in one pannier, make sure to check the weight of both panniers as you eat the food down to make sure they are evenly weighted. Redistribute items as needed. Failing to keep your panniers evenly-weighted could lead to a front wheel wobble.
