BB Monument, Colorado simply because it’s GS country…which also means it’s adventure country for just about any adventure you can think of…oh and the weather is sunny, wild and wonderful!
SA What or who inspired you to ride a motorcycle?
BB Everyone around me as a child seemed to ride including a few women, on top of that its the cheapest form of transport in Europe and then the discovery of liberation through moto therapy made it a lifelong obsession!
SA What bike(s) do you own?
BB I have dozens of motorbikes over the years spanning many makes, models and genres but my passion is particularly for BMW R1200GS, Scrambler and KTM 500 EXC.
SA Are you a part of a women’s riding group? If so, which one(s)?
BB We are rocking the Colorado GS Girls group as a fun, supportive and mentoring success which is women-centric but not solely women or GS’s.
SA Where is your favorite ride and why?
BB Any dirt road in the Rockies! They all blow my mind!
SA Why do you ride or want to ride on 2-wheels?
BB It’s the perfect extension of our bodies. I never bore of the places 2 wheels can take me both physically and spiritually.
SA Have you always been driven to explore adventurous activities?
BB Always. I like to live not just exist. Adventure is in the hands of the believer.
SA What would you like to see more of when it comes to the women’s riding world?
BB More connection, support and harmony.
SA What gets you out of bed in the morning?
BB Colorado’s sweet braaaaaping mountain views and skies.
SA If you could ride anywhere next year, where would it be and why?
BB More back roads right here in Colorado and generally all over the USA. A lifetime’s adventures right here on our doorstep.
SA Do you personally operate or work at a women-owned/operated moto related website, blog, or business that you’d like to tell folks about?
BB Admin for is the USAs arm of GS Girls International. Admin for BMW GS Girls and Colorado GS Girls Facebook group and my own page GS Girls Riding.
SA What was your worst day on a motorcycle?
BB Is there such a thing? Ok once I nearly got blown off the road by a Colorado freak weather storm.

BB Curry, curry, curry.
SA What age did you learn to ride a motorcycle?
SA Funniest thing that ever happened to you while on a ride?
BB I’ve been stopped twice by police who thought I was a guy until I took my helmet off, the look on their faces was priceless.

SA Name 3 immediate things you would like to accomplish in the world of riding.
BB Helping to connect the community and actually have people ride together more. Get more people trying adventure riding. Doing more adventure riding and remote camping.

BB Do long distance trips in different continents. Create more opportunities for riders especially women. Improve the accessibility of all aspects of riding to every day people.
