SJ I consider my home to be North Wales. It’s a beautiful part of the world. However, I have been on the road a long time now and everything I own is on the bike so I guess you could say I live on the road! I have no idea when or where I will finish!
SA What bike(s) do you own?
SJ I own a Honda CRF250L
SA Where is your favorite ride and why?
SJ I have many but one of my favourite has to be the dirt roads down in the Copper Canyon, Mexico. It has stunning scenery, no traffic except for the cowboys on horseback and their cows! It’s all dirt and the sun shines most of the time! What more can you ask for?
SA What or who inspired you to ride a motorcycle?
SJ My parents both ride and my Grandmother even road during the war! I guess you can say it’s in the blood!
SA Have you always been driven to explore adventurous activities?
SJ Yes I guess so. It got me in to trouble as a teenager! I was always some place I shouldn’t be! As an adult I have always been looking for adventure too. My riding days started when I was 21 but I did my first foreign trip on a bike in 2008. Since then I have not really stopped either at home or abroad!
SA What would you like to see more of when it comes to the women’s riding world?
SJ I would love to see more choice of clothing for women that does not involve PINK!! We do not all like pink!!!!!
SA What gets you out of bed in the morning?
SJ The desire to keep moving!
SA If you could ride anywhere next year, where would it be and why?
SJ Well as I am on a world tour to hit all 7 continents I hope very much I will be in Africa by then. That will be my final destination before possibly riding home.
SA Have you ridden internationally? If so, where?
SJ Europe, Asia, Australia, Antarctica, South and Central America, North America (and before this trip – Africa)
SA Do you run a moto-related business, website or blog?
